ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum- HA 1001 RAM

Look at the bottom of your machine and you will find a small door held in place with a single screw. Remove that door and you will have access to your RAM. There are two metal clips holding your RAM in place. Move each one back gently and your RAM will lift up. Make sure you remove the power supply and remove the battery. Pull it gently free of your machine. Replace it with a single 2gB stick of Pc2-5300 DDR2-667 MHz 200 pin SODIMM. Press the RAM firmly in place and press down to click it into the metal tabs.

Press the power button on your machine and immediately start tapping the F2 key to go into your BIOS. You should now see 2048 MB of system memory. Press
f10 to save BIOS changes and your machine will reboot.
